The Scenario: A coffee brand's chaff idea

A coffee roaster wanted to use its spent coffee chaff in a takeaway cup. The prototype looked great, but the material failed the grease-resistance test for hot beverages.

Pain Points

The Solution: From waste to workable material

The roaster partnered with a materials lab to make the concept viable:

1. Blend, don't replace Chaff works as a filler or fiber additive in established paper structures, not as a full replacement.
